The article claims that wireless rails are driving growth in Sub Saharan Africa. Yet, it, internet, connectivity are all growing. Whether and to what extent the economies are really growing is less clear. It is very unclear whether the pc, wireless phones and the like are contributing to economic growth in addition to contributing to their own growth.

Yet, the media keep riding the story that the IT revolution is revolutionizing the African economies. And one really wonder whether it is just much ado about nothing.
