  • Ph.D. in Human Movement  Science or any related field
  • Five years’ experience in Human Movement Sciences
  • Five years’ experience in managing self-initiated research projects and funds
  • Five years’ experience in supervision of postgraduate students


  • Publishing of peer-reviewed articles in ISI impact journals
  • To provide training to researchers and post-graduate students of PhASRec
  • Apply for national and international research grants and give assistance in the quality control thereof
  • Perform all research administrative tasks with regards to post-graduate supervision.
  • Improvement of  research profile in order to be promoted and to obtain NRF or equivalent rating
