The press reported that “The Business Africa 2018 Forum in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, aims to foster greater regional integration through investments and cross border collaborations”,

It’s really perplexing to read about greater integration after the press reported, in the previous few days, that East African countries (with the exception of Kenya and Uganda) are not contributing to the EAC budget, that Kenya and Tanzania are in a sort of trade war, that Ghana and Togo are unable to reach an agreement on maritime borders/boundaries…

with this kind of leaders, with this kind of rulers, with this kind of rule, with this kind of disagreements, it is unlikely that  greater inregration can be achieved. To achieve greater integration in the continent we need new leaders and a new leadership style.
