Less than one month left till one of the biggest and important celebration of music, theatre, dance, circus, art, film, literature, debate, outdoor and family events – the annual Brighton Festival that will take place from 4th to 26th May.

This year Guest Director of the event is Malian singer, songwriter and guitarist, Rokia Traoré.

Yesterday, during the Brighton Festival Taster Day, visitors enjoyed live music from Classic Ghana Highlife (Alex Yeboah, Kofi Adu, Papa J Mensah), “three of the very best artists from this seminal West African music style that influenced the continent and helped start the world wide popularity of African music.”
