The Global Partnership for Education Board of Directors has approved US$135 mln grant to support high-quality schooling for children in Benin, Burundi and Tanzania. A grant of US$19.4 mln for Benin will be used to address education priorities. Burundi’s grant of US$25.6 million will be directed to the construction of primary school classrooms in the most vulnerable areas. Tanzania will put its US$90 mln grant in enrolling more children especially the most vulnerable.
