The Afrobarometer has recently released the results of a study conducted in 35 African countries. The report reveals that while poverty levels are still high, poverty levels have declined in 22 countries out of 33. The list of countries which have experienced some reduction in poverty includes Cape Verde, Egypt, Ghana and Zambia.
