DRC: “the faces of orphans”

Photographer Jerome Delay presented a photo-set “The faces of Orphans”, where each of the photo tells the story of an abandoned child.

According to UN, there are 26 million orphans in West and Central Africa, 2nd highest number in the world behind South Asia. More than 4 million children have lost at least one parent in Congo over the past two decades because of conflict, ethnic fight and violence in Congo.
