The millions of people who flee from violence, conflict, famine and assorted tragedies, face a variety of risks and dangers, among which: they can be sexually exploited, they can be used as forced workers, and they can even be forced to sell their skins and organs.

While we do not think that migration should be stopped, it is clear that the countries of the global North should provide more aid and more investments to keep African economies growing, promote socio-economic development, reduce poverty and give Africans a chance to live better, longer, healthier and more dignified lives than they would live because of the various forms of exploitation.
