Though we cannot claim to have studied in great detail the history of seismicity in Africa, we have nonetheless the impression that -for whatever reason- Africa is becoming more seismic than it used to be. In a little more than a week, in 11 days to be precise, earthquakes shook Mauritius first, Somalia later and now Uganda.
