In the most recent week for which WHO data are available, there 46 events–3 new and 43 ongoing, 33 of which were outbreaks and 13 were humanitarian crises.

The three new events are Malaria in Kenya, dengue fever in Burkina faso and Cholera in Malawi. Cholera can also be found in Angola, Burundi, Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, Nigeria and Tanzania.

Plague has so far killed 45 people in Madagascar.
